After completing her official visit in Germany, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mrs Rita Lau (centre), visited the Port of Barcelona in Spain on March 8 (Barcelona time), where she was briefed by the General Director of Creuers del Port de Barcelona (CPB), Mr Carlos F Domingo (right), and Manager of the Barcelona Port Authority, Ms Carla Salvado (left), on the operations and management of the port's cruise terminal facilities. Administered by the Barcelona Port Authority, Barcelona port accomodates seven major cruise terminals, making it one of the leading cruise homeports and ports-of-call in the Mediterranean. CPB operates five cruise terminals at the port.
