The Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme, first launched in 2001, is jointly organised by the Tourism Commission and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. Open to full-time students in Hong Kong aged 15 or above, the Scheme aims to instill in the young people a sense of belonging to Hong Kong and a culture of service excellence, and to inspire them with a sense of courtesy and helpfulness to visitors. After completing the training programme, Young Ambassadors are engaged in a wide range of voluntary service opportunities throughout the year to help promote Hong Kong to visitors.
