The Hong Kong Cultural Centre has been recognised as the territory's premier performing arts venue since its opening in November 1989. The Centre has offered innumerable outstanding local and overseas artistic performances over the years. The three performing halls within the Centre provide a total of about 4,000 seats for productions of various art forms. Over 600 performances by local talents as well as international masters are staged at the Centre each year.
