Drivers of tour service coaches mainly serving tourists
The Government has launched the Tourism Industry Additional Support Scheme (the Scheme). Targeting at drivers of tour service coaches mainly serving tourists, the Scheme aims to provide a one-off subsidy of $6,700 to each eligible driver.
“Eligible tour service coach drivers”: Tour service coach drivers (mainly serving tourists) who have received subsidy under the Tourism Industry Support Scheme of the third round of Anti-epidemic Fund (AEF 3.0).
Disbursement of Subsidy
The eligible tour service coach drivers are not required to apply for subsidy under the Scheme. The Government will send SMS notifications to them about subsidy disbursement arrangement. They are required to contact the Tourism Commission if there is any updating to their bank account information for receiving relevant subsidy on or before 16 December 2020.
