Commissioner for Tourism attends UNWTO meeting (with photos)
(PDF Version) The Commissioner for Tourism, Miss Margaret Fong, met with the new Secretary-General of the UNWTO, Dr Taleb Rifai, yesterday (October 5) to exchange views on global tourism issues in Astana, Kazakhstan on the sidelines of the Eighteenth Session of the UNWTO General Assembly. Picture shows Miss Fong presenting a souvenir to Dr Rifai.

The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mrs Rita Lau, on July 23 addressed a luncheon jointly organised by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore and the Hong Kong-Singapore Business Association. In her speech themed "Transforming Pains into Gains Amid the Global Downturn", Mrs Lau told the Singapore business community of the immense possibilities Hong Kong offered to create value for their businesses amid the global economic downturn.
