First launched by the Tourism Commission in 2001, the Hong Kong Young Ambassador Scheme is one of the major components of the campaign. The Scheme aims to inculcate a sense of belonging among Hong Kong young people and educate them about the importance of tourism. Participants will be trained to be courteous, knowledgeable and competent Ambassadors to promote Hong Kong to visitors and friends.
Since year 2002, the Scheme has been jointly organized by the Tourism Commission and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups.
