The Peak is the top tourist attraction in Hong Kong. We have implemented improvement measures to make the Peak a more attractive place and to enrich visitors' experience. The project scope includes reconstruction of the Peak piazza and streetscape improvement to various walking trails, use of a de-commissioned Peak Tram cabin as a visitor information centre and beautification of Mount Austin Playground, etc. Works were substantially completed in early 2008.
