The Peak is the top
tourist attraction in Hong Kong. We have planned to implement improvement
measures to make the Peak a more attractive place and to enhance the experience
for visitors. The project area will cover the commercial core, the walking
trails and the Victorian Peak Garden. Improvement works include tree planting,
repaving and re-surfacing, upgrading of street lighting, provision of
seating facilities and shelters etc. Works commenced in October 2005 and
will be completed in phases by end 2007.
