Dr Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail in the Central and Western District was set up in 1996. The Trail presents a historical account of Dr Sun Yat-Sen's activities in Hong Kong. The Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum accommodated in Kom Tong Hall, a historical mansion in the Mid-levels, was opened to the public in end 2006. To complement the opening of Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum, the Government carried out works to enhance the Trail. The enhancement included upgrading the railings and bollards along the Trail with a thematic design, erection of more information signage to tell the history, etc.
